Muhanned A. Kumkumji was born February 10th, 1977 in Columbus, Ohio USA to Saudi parents.  The middle of 3 brothers, he remained in the US till 18 years old. Though he has since made his home in Saudi Arabia, he has returned often to the US, balancing a love of the countries of his citizenship and birth. From the time he was young, Muhanned’s parents noticed the artist within him that was so desperately crying to get out. Despite their fears of his struggling to make a successful future in an art profession that would be enough to carry himself & a family, they offered their unconditional support of his dreams. That support was instrumental to his artistic voice being heard. At the age of 10 Muhanned was drawing comics, using his own story lines and ideas. At 13, he found paid employment in a computer store and the continued access to the games only helped to enrich his imagination and dreams of endless possibilities. Until he found a chance developing his talent with the Disney club Though his father was a supporter of his work, he continued to voice his fears of the likelihood of his son’s failure to do well for himself as an artist.  Those words affected Muhanned greatly, but only by strengthening his conviction to succeed. Muhanned went from making his art work and video clips as a hobby to that of his passion and chosen career. His first film, a comedy titled "Where Is The Letter", was a short clip series he made at age 16 with friends that poked fun at famous American movies. A year later, at 17 he was working as a graphic designer in a printing press. Muhanned, with his visions and drive, is someone one cannot help but notice. Within a short time of his working at the printing press, he became the vice president. But his dreams for acting and directing was still hunting his mind witch ended him being a part of the NYFA and laying his foot on big Hollywood film sets in the directing unit such as bad boys and die hard. Setting his sights far beyond what he had accomplished, Muhanned left the sets in 1997 to start his own and first company, My Graphics.  An enormous success in this endeavor & as the first in Saudi Arabia with these skills, Muhanned received multiple awards for his artwork, graphics & digital video making. Three years later in Summer of 2000, Muhanned returned to the US working with large media companies such as Disney and Adobe & took Directing courses through NewYork film academy. He returned to Riyadh, KSA in 2003 opening Arts2Art, a digital studio for graphic design & video making in the kingdom based on a US format. The studio has since relocated to Jeddah. In 2004 he became a recognized media consultant & has served graphic and media agencies and major companies in revising their media plans to give the highest results in the media market, Listed in the “Who Is…” directory of successful Arab men, and known for his hard work and high edge creativity, these days Muhanned is one of the top 10 media consultants in the Middle East.
